I want to share with you how Herbalife has enhanced my life and made me feel so much better.
I had gastric bypass surgery in August of 2001 due to health weight issues. I have lost 110 pounds, but hit a plateau around the first of January 2002 and had not been losing anything at all. I was concerned that I was not getting enough nutrients through the food I was eating because I was very tired and I was still losing my hair (because I wasn't getting enough protein) and was having a terrible time with constipation (so obviously not enough fiber).
Thank God my sister, Lana Wampler, was introduced to Herbalife International in March of 2002. She started me on Formula One, Two, Three, Cell-U-Loss, Aminogen, Herbal Concentrate, Calcium and Joint Support. I am also indulging in their Body Contouring Cream and their High Protein, Low Carb Soups and Protein Bars. My body could not handle the BALANCE GOLD bars because it has 17 grams of sugar and they made me terribly sick. I was a bit leery of the Herbalife Protein Bars but was amazed at the taste and they only have 1 gram of sugar. (Much better for us gastric-bypass patients.) I highly recommend the chocolate coconut :-)
My bowels are back to functioning normal because of the Formula One shakes. I had tried Fibercon, Grape Juice, Correctrol, eating tons of fiber crackers with no results. Once I started the shakes, within ten minutes I had results. What a relief!!! :-) Although my surgery helped me regain some energy, I still felt tired, stressed and generally run down. Taking the Herbalife supplements, I now have the energy that I need to keep up with a9-year-old sports fanatic along with other volunteer work that I do. In the last 4-weeks I have lost 10 pounds and 16 1/3 inches. My hair is returning to its natural thickness that I have always had. I am still amazed at how great I feel.
Also, I have noticed that while taking the products, my skin is tightening and toning. Some of us know that when you lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time, the skin does not shrink like the rest of the body. I have noticed a HUGE difference in my skin appearance (especially the parts that were sagging really bad with that ugly cellulite :-) ) since starting Herbalife's Cellular Nutrition with the Cell-U-Loss and the Body Contouring Cream.
Because of the results that I have had, I take my Herbalife religiously and would be lost without it. I believe in the products so much, I wanted my sister to present them to you.
We have the best, most kind and caring doctor I know about, but, what Dr. Warnock does for us, IS ONLY A TOOL FOR. We have to support it with exercise and the proper nutrients. This is hard to do when your stomach will only hold 4oz. but Herbalife has made this possible for me and I have NEVER felt better, I have even started my son on an Herbalife regimen and I now feel confident that he is getting the all the nutrients that his body needs.

Does Herbalife work for GB patients? ABSOLUTELY!....I have been on the products just one month and feel wonderful. I am losing the inches I still needed to lose after I plateaued from my bypass surgery. The wonderful thing about Herbalife is it's high protein, which is very important to GB patients. These products are wonderful.
I have not suffered any dumping syndrome while on this product. I drink my Formula 1 slowly, taking the other supplements at that time, helping to keep that pouch small. Which was the whole point of that surgery. To reduce the amount of food we take in, which reduces our size.
If you have had this surgery, or know someone who has, get them on these products.
