Hi guys, I’m Rhondi Gartenfeld
Since the age of 18, I have suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I have also had Glandular Fever, blood clots on the lungs, 13 broken bones (through having Osteoporosis), a pierced lung, a broken back, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Endometriosis & Fibromyalgia (to name a few).
I spent 3 months in hospital unable to walk and was confined to a wheelchair. I had also been issued with a permanent parking disability permit.
I was unable to get from the car to the house without having to sit and try to recoup what little strength I had left. After taking the girls to school & shopping for dinner, I would have to sit down for the rest of the day & read. (I have a permanent 10% discount at the bookshop). Great life eh?
I managed to eke out an existence, thanks to a well-known Professor, who put me on
Panediene Forte (2x3-4 times a day), Tryptanol & Xanax. Also, due to my inactivity, I began to get ‘middle age’ spread.
I answered an ad in the local paper to work from home (not sure I could even cope with that) as we found it hard to live on one wage. Prior to this I was unemployable due to my health.
I started in the business and on the products in January,2004 (I had to borrow the money from my children to get started). Since then, my business has grown very fast due to the great mentoring I receive on a daily basis. (By the way, I was able to pay back my children very quickly)!
Within 3 weeks of taking the products, I lost 6kg and 18cm body mass and felt fantastic! Not only that, but because of the great nutrition & energy I got from them, I am now C.F.S. FREE … after 30 years !!!

I now walk between 4 to 6 kilometres a day (I have done 8)!!! I have not seen a doctor since I have been on the products. Before I was introduced to Herbalife I was a very unhealthy person.

I suffered severely with Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia. For four years I slept an average of 16 hours in a 24 hour period. The longest I was able to stay awake at any one time was 4 hours. I had absolutely no energy, my muscles were so weak and painful. My sense of balance was so bad that I used a wheelchair, walker, crutches or cane to get around. I even had bad spells where I was bedridden for months at a time. Besides the pain and fatigue, I had headaches, nausea, bladder and digestive problems. 

My memory was terrible. I took nine prescription drugs for all of my symptoms and side effects. I was constantly going or coming from either Doctors appointments or the hospital. Because I was unable to drive I was totally dependent on other people, had gained 35 lbs. due to my inactivity. My self esteem was down to nothing.

I got started on the Herbalife product in May of 1994, after my daughter and son-in-law insisted that I try them. With in 3 weeks I was sleeping less, had more energy and my symptoms were beginning to diminish. I am now only taking one prescription medication and getting 6-8 hours of quality sleep per night (which now is adequate for me). I don't get headaches anymore and I no longer have bladder or digestive problems. 

My sense of balance and muscle stamina has returned, such that I am able to exercise and even go dancing. My memory has improved tremendously. I am driving a car and living a very independent life. Most of all, I have my self-esteem back. I am able to do all the things I couldn't do for 4 years. I have lost 20lbs. and 4 inches off my waist. I have more energy and vitality now than I could ever dreamed possible again. I look and feel years younger.

I started on the Herbalife basic nutrition in April 1996 while experiencing Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) which had been diagnosed at the beginning of 1995 and had completely altered my life.

Blood tests found I’d had both Ross River Fever and Glandular Fever previously and followed a diagnosis of depression in mid 1994. I was working as a Marine Biologist on the Great Barrier Reef at the time and had nothing to be depressed about except then the CFS was making it impossible for me to work beyond a few hours let alone scuba dive.

By June 1995 on a total raw food and fresh juice diet I felt fit enough to return to work full-time. By August 1995 I had relapsed with not only the symptoms of fatigue and extreme muscle pain but also short term memory loss, poor concentration and coherency to the extent of problems with speech, digestive disorders, periods of potential heart failure and more with months spent barely living any sort of life. I couldn’t get off the anti-depressant Aropax from which I was experiencing disturbing side effects and my savings were dwindling as I spent $100s on supplements from the health food stores which didn’t seem to be having any beneficial effect. Within one week of putting all the supplements aside and taking Herbalife my stamina had increased remarkably out in the boat, rock-hopping, fishing, swimming, long walks and spending the evenings upright with friends. I increased Formula 1 to twice a day and continued to improve. By three weeks my Dr was impressed with my dramatically improved coherency and concentration and I had literally forgotten to take the anti-depressant (a previously impossible intention due to the resultant mood swings, irritability, aggression etc). Drug free and side-effect free within three weeks.

I added Aloe Vera Juice and Florafibre and for the first time in eight months my digestive tract functioned normally! Thermojetics Beverage became my stabiliser when feeling stressed or tired. And I started to lose a kilo a week of the excess I was carrying without even trying. On raw foods all this time, the only thing different I had done in my life was to add Herbalife.
