When
my son was 4, I was told by his day care lady that he had symptoms of
A.D.D., and that she was attending a seminar about A.D.D. in the
following week, Would I like to come along and listen in.
I
did and recognised all the same A.D.D. symptoms that my son had. I went
and saw a specialist (who in fact was A.D.D. himself) - he put my son
on dexamphetamine, 2 tabs three times a day.
The change in my little boy was instant. very quiet, He listened, he behaved. but...at night he had horrible
nightmares, night terrors, the doctor said, they sometimes happen, but
not to worry, they don't suffer any long term effects from these. So on
and off these terrors happen over the next five years. Last year, I
became a supervisor with Herbalife and went through all the testimonials hoping
to find something for my son. He was 11 then and hated taking the
tablets, he said they made him dopey and stupid and he was getting more
and more night terrors. By this stage I had weaned him down to 2
tablets a day (the thought of all those tablets everyday, all those
chemicals, was a constant source of debate between my husband and
myself for many years).
So I decided to try my own little experiment. I gave him one dexamphetamine plus one Herbalifeline and one NRG in the morning and he took one Herbalifeline and one NRG to school and had them with his lunch time dex.
The Xmas holidays came and during this time he would only have his morning dex plus Herbalife
2 times a day. His night terrors stopped; by the time Xmas was over he
had probably had one or two nights of waking up but no terrors.
If
you have ever experienced them you will know how horrible they are.
When my son went back to school, he forgot to go to the office at lunch
time to have his dex, After a month he told me this and I saw his
teacher to ask how his behaviour was. He was happy with his progress,
but he would monitor him anyway. It is now the 2nd
He is 12 this year and dexamphetamine free. My
doctor tried to increase his dose saying as they get older, they need
more. I didn't want my son to be on these tablets all his life and
what's more he hated it.
Now he is happy, Sometimes he can be a handful, but I figure, he's just a boy. If his school work is not suffering and he's happy and we are happy then what more can I ask for.
Thanks to
Herbalife, everything is ok. All you can do is give it a go, but
remember its all trial and error, depending on the drug and what dose
you are on, will depend on how much Herbalife to use. You must do this
slowly and cut down the A.D.D. medication only when you feel the
person/child can cope without it. This worked for me.

Hi, I have a 6 year old son who has ADHD and ODD (oppositional defiance disorder). He was taking Concerta and 4 125mg Depkote tablets each day. I have just started trying some of the products on him and I have successfully exchanged his 4 Depkote tablets with 1/2 a K8 tablet 3 times a day.
I also give him 1/2 a Sleep Now tablet at bed time. (He never slept more than a couple of hrs each night until now.

My
son Anthony was diagnosed as having ADHD when he was 5 years old. Over
the years I had been to doctors, psychologists, homeopaths, and tried
him on various diets, some of which gave some improvement. When the
problems such as lack of concentration, hyperactive behaviour and ticks
got worse, around the age of 11 years, I finally gave in to the doctors
to give him medication, which I had tried to avoid doing for all those
years, because of all the side affects that were known about some of
these drugs.
The
first drug was Ritalin, which seemed to calm him down and his
concentration improved, but his ticks became so bad that I could barely
stand looking at him without feeling distraught. His head and face
twitched constantly,
then down his neck, arms and body. The children at school teased him as
children sometimes do, and that caused him more grief. I went back to
the doctor who then gave him another medication called Dixarit, which
was often used
for people with high blood pressure, and was known to help some
children with ADHD if taken in smaller doses. So I started my son on
this drug, and seemed to have some affect and the ticks were a lot less
At the
same time he had some tests done at school to see which secondary
education school he would be best suited for, and it was said that he
had to go to a high school for children with learning problems. I was
told that he would not have a higher level of education and he would be
able to learn perhaps how to work in a supermarket or shop.
Around
this time I came in contact with Herbalife, mainly for myself to lose
weight. I had heard from my Sponsor about children with ADHD who
improved on Herbalife's NRG tablets. So I started my son on NRG twice a
day, and Formula 1 and Formula 2 once a day. He
was also still on the Dixarit tablets twice a day. After a few days I
noticed improvement in his concentration and behaviour. But what was
more astounding was that after his first year at high school, they said
he could do a higher level of education in Sales and Retail, and a year
later they put him up to a higher level to do the Business
Administration course. In his final examinations he did not only pass,
but his results were 8's and 9's and even a 7 in the Dutch language,
with which he struggled since we came here from Australia 10 years ago.
Shortly after that the doctor took him off the medication, said it wasn't necessary anymore. Since then my son has worked in

I am a 46 year old man and all my life I was called stupid or dumb, and was told that I was not ever going to catch on.
I was told I am too spacy or I do not pay attention, I lack concentration, and many other things.

I love Herbalife and because of these products I am now able to concentrate and I do not fear the dreaded "stupid" or "you will never understand" words.
I will never be without them.

My grandson who is 10 years old was diagnosed ADD a few years ago and for two years was on Ritalin.
